What our club offers…

Meals Program

NIMBA has a meals program for members with newborns. Once you have advised us of the birth of your babies, a meal will get delivered to your door by another NIMBA family.

Once you are feeling on your feet, there is an opportunity to pay-it-forward to another family following in your footsteps! A milestone in itself.

Facebook Group

Our Facebook group is a private group for paid members of NIMBA, with posts visible only to NIMBA members. This is a chance to share the highs and lows, ask questions, seek out support, and keep in touch with other parents that you meet at NIMBA events. Even on the days you can’t leave the house you can still feel connected to the NIMBA community.

Buy/Swap/Sell

Our Facebook Buy/Swap/sell group is a great place to get pre-loved equipment and clothing for multiples.

Noah’s Ark Newsletter

Noah’s Ark is our regular newsletter that lets parents share their experiences and tips on raising multiples. It also features details of NIMBA events you can attend each month.

While the format and content of the Noah’s Ark newsletter has changed, this newsletter has been delivered to local families since 1987. Our founding member explains the name as “having twins is like having an ark.”

Thornbury Playgroup

During school term there is a fortnightly playgroup held every second Friday in Thornbury.

Come along to connect and play with other families of multiples. All ages welcome. We have mats & toys for babies, and plenty of toys for the bigs.

If the weather is dry we open the doors and enjoy the secure fenced outdoor play area. Change table, toilets and kitchen all available. Tea and coffee available, bring morning tea for the kids if needed.

Merri-Bek Playgroup

Held on the last Sunday of the month, playgroup is a great chance to get together with other families of multiples for a chat, a snack and a play. Throughout the year we will have special guests to come along to run music, dance and art activities with the families. The venue in Coburg is a secure hall space, baby changing facilities and kitchen access. Bring along a $2 donation if you can to go towards replenishing toys and craft. Please bring along any snacks or drink for your little ones. We try to have a sit down together part way through for a bit of a nibble.All-ages are welcome!!! As are siblings and family members.

Parking and public transport is available right out side on Sydney Rd. Come through the front gate, through the front doors and you’ll find us at the end of the hallway in the back room. There are a couple of steps inside in the hallway – if you need help getting down with a pram let us know!

Fitzroy North Playgroup

In addition to NIMBA hosted playgroups, the City of Yarra also invites NIMBA families to weekly multiples playgroup open to the general public on Mondays 10am-12noon at Bargoonga Nganjin, Fitzroy North, Level 1, Playroom 2.
